iOS Engineer

As an iOS Engineer for Pebble, you take great pride in clean interfaces and drawn to building unique products. You are naturally curious about making a product to help people access information easier and more discreetly. In this customer facing role, you work not only the Pebble app but also the Pebble iOS SDK that will enable other iOS Developers to integrate Pebble with their apps. This requires designing APIs and Pebble SDK framework.

Visual Designer

As one of the pioneering designers at Pebble, you will have a big influence on what Pebble looks, feels and works like. You get to work on many aspects of the product, from the user interface of the Pebble watch itself, to the user interface of the mobile apps, to the developer portal web pages. You get to shape the design process, and will be instrumental in developing and communicating strategic direction, research insights, and vision concepts. Additionally, you will engage in more traditional activities such as pushing pixel perfect prototypes and producing graphic assets for the watch, mobile apps and the web. This is an opportunity to work with a small design team on a product that is worn by tens of thousands of people around the world!


Things we look for:

  • Worked on visual design of mobile apps for iOS and Android.
  • Experience with the product design cycle, from wireframes, to mockups, to prototypes, to final CSS/HTML.
  • Strong, clean, innovative, visual design sense and a vigilant attention to detail.
  • Love for white boards and group brainstorming.
  • Genuine curiosity about technology. Mobile moves fast, and in order to design for emerging platforms, one has to use emerging platforms and be curious about how they work.

As an Example App Creator and Technical Writer for Pebble, you'll be one of the first on our developer outreach team, responsible for activities that inspire developers to engage with our technologies. You are a compelling writer, respected community leader, and trusted web technology expert, able to effectively write for Pebble with deep credibility, coder-to-architect level development knowledge, and first-hand experience. Web Developer

We're looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Web Developer to help take Pebble to the next level in terms of functionality and integrations As we grow the website and the marketing around the service, we need someone with the RoR chops to take kick-ass design and turn it into even better web experiences for users.

In the first few months of work, you will ship a few dozen pages for various parts of the site, from sales/solutions collateral and product launches, to email marketing and events.

You love building pages that deliver the best user experience on any modern browser.

Senior Test Engineer and Toolsmith

As Pebble's Senior Test Engineer and Toolsmith, you will create tools and processes that help us ensure high quality in all the software we ship, from firmware to web apps. You will be responsible for testing a complex system with multiple hardware and software components that must interact seamlessly. Because we ship software frequently, a high degree of test automation is essential. As the founding member of Pebble's software test team, you will also act as a mentor for future test engineering hires.
